Here's another song by that 60's, revolutionary, Cuban troubadour, Silvio Rodriguez. This one is called La Guitarra del Joven Soldado. The song is about a soldier and his guitar, which he quietly plays in the barracks late at night. The song's last line is "la guitarra del joven soldado es su mejor fusil"; this translates to "the young soldier's guitar is his best rifle".
Enjoy!

Ojala de Silvio Rodriguez
I present you one of my favorite songs: Ojala by Silvio Rodriguez, one of the founders of the Cuban Nueva Trova movement of the 1960's.
Ojala is about a heartbroken man hoping the love of his life would simply vanish, so his pain, his memories and his songs wouldn't revolve around her any longer. Enjoy!
